Millennium Park To Host Chicago House Party
Chicago House Party on Saturday, May 28th at Millennium Park
Chicago is the house music capitol of the world.
This is where it was born. It was our sister network WBMX.COM which, back in the day was at 102.7 FM brought the dance scene from the underground to the masses via the mix shows with the U.S. Dance Music Hall of Fame DJS – The Hot Mix 5 and other DJS including Clubhead TV president Sal Amato who was a guest DJ many times along with other great Chicago DJS.
As a firm believer in cherishing the past and respecting the architects, Chicago pays its respect to the scene on May 28th with a free concert at the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park in the heart of downtown.
With live performances from THE HOUSE LEGACY PROJECT – Keys: Jerry C King, Steve Miggedy Maestro, Rob Diggy. Bass: Day Rock. Guitar: Duane “Rude” Jones. Drums: Chuck Lacy. Horns: Led by Eddie Dunn, Evrett Newchurch, Steve Thomas. Background Vocals: Kim Jay, Tony Dyson, Robert Townsend, Bernetta Donalson.
Also appearing will be Byron Stingily (Ten City), Dajae, Lidell Townsell, Faith Howard, Paris Brightledge, Ronnell, Kim Jay, First Lady, and introducing Ivelisse Diaz.
The event kicks off at 3PM and goes til 9AM. Over 20,000 will be jackin’ it up on Chicago’s lakefront and we hope to see you there!
